Aftr hearing the information from here and there, I think the rumuor about collecting fiscal from Kepri-an when they want to travel overseas is TRUE...

OMG.. How can they impose this thing?
Heard from my aunt that they did impose it 20 or 30 years ago when I still dun noe anything about life..haha:)

But after a certain time, they have stopped and they even came up with this thing "SIJORI" which is Singapore Johor Riau
This is to allow people from Kepulauan Riau to be free of fiscal whenever they travel to Singapore and Johor (Malaysia)
BUT now, they are going to remove it and start their collection of tax which heard will be 1 million of Rupiahs ( 140 Singapore dollars)
It's considered very expensive ler...

Fortunately, before that I heard from Melly about the information of how to be escaped from it for us - students who study in Singapore.
Basically, we just need to go to the Indonesia embassy in Singapore to fill in a form and change our address to show the officer there that we temporary stay in Singapore now.

Apart from that, they also said that the rules won't be imposed to those businessman who really need to travel to Singapore or Malaysia for their business purpose.
When I heard of that, I was like DUH...

What does this mean?
Why all those businessman can be exempted while those normal people must pay for that stupid sum of money?

I seriously think what is the purpose of collecting all these money lor?
Is it for the development in our city?
or is it supposed to be used for other "specific purpose" which I can't mention at here?
It seems like it's getting worse so what's the point for me to go back again?
I'd rather stay here and get a better prospect for my future.

Anyway, here are some of the exempted people from this fiscal rule
1. Students who currently study at here and stay at here ( but must go through the procedure of changing your address.
2. Businessman who has the NPWP ( Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak)
3. Children/ Youth below 21
